About our Candles

Candle Finish and Quality

We pride ourselves on the fact that our candles are quite different. Apart from the fact that they are all Australian made, the candles are all finished with a unique coating process that embeds the design within the candle. There are no stickers sitting on the surface that can fade, peel or be easily damaged. It also means that the candles can last - making them an ideal keepsakes for all special occasions. 

All our large candles and bomboniere are presented in beautiful organza gift bags. Alternatively, you can choose to have your special candle gift boxed (our sets come presented in gift boxes free of charge).

Candle Safety and Care

  • Children - Always keep lit candles out of reach of children and pets

  • Surfaces - Place candles on heat resistant, non flammable surfaces

  • Packages - Remove all packaging and candes before lighting

  • Wax - To avoid wax splash when extinguishing, use a snuffer

  • Movement - Don't move a burning candle as the wax could spill and cause severe burns

  • Drafts - Burn in an area free of draughts

  • Wicks - Trim wicks to approximately 1 cm

  • Storing - Keep candles out of direct sunlight to avoid warping and fading

  • Polishing - You may polish candles with a nylon stocking

Ordering and Payment

We prepare all orders to your personal specifications, so payment is required before work can start. This can be done either through our secure online shopping (paypal) or by direct bank deposit. If you pay via direct bank deposit, please note your name in the description section.

Review and Approval

We always send our customers an artwork proof - which is a PDF file showing you an outline of how your candle design will appear. This gives you the opportunity to review the content and approve the design/style prior to us commencing work. We will make your candle after your approval has been received. If however we do not hear back from you within approximately 10 days (or within a week of the event), we will proceed without your approval, according to your instructions when you ordered.

Please note that some colours vary between computer screens, or the images you supplied, and the finished product. This is simply due to technology limitations and is unavoidable. 

Postage and Delivery

Our parcels are sent using both Australia Post and a Courier service depending on your location. If you are not home, your parcel may be left at your door. If you do not want your parcel left, please ensure you note this at the time of your order. We take great care with our packaging, to ensure there is no damage to your candles. In the unlikely event of any damage by third parties, we can not be held liable for such damage.

Turnaround Times

We endeavour to complete all orders as quickly as possible following the approval of your artwork proof.  Although we may be able to turn your candle order around quickly, we are still dependent other organisations  (Australia Post/Courier) transporting the candles to you. Mostly, this happens very quickly, however there are occasions when delays occur that are outside of our control. Please try to leave plenty of time before your event to ensure your candle arrives in time. If you are concerned about the potential for a delay in delivery or if your  order is urgent, there is always the option to send the candles Express Post. Additional charges may apply.
